Just a small note...
YAY for 50 days and getting through Christmas and the anniversary of my mother's passing without drinking... it is possible if you work it. It ain't easy... at all.. but, it is worth it.

Saliena, Yay for 50 days!!! I'm so happy to read that you are still sober. Congrats on making it through the holidays and the anniversary of your mom's passing.
I struggled to stay sober for the first month or two; then things leveled out and staying sober got much easier. But yeah, it was really hard at first. And very worth it!

the holidays are a huge trigger for our rowdy alcoholic minds..........add to that the mourning of a loved one,..................
