Ive been sober for 6 months, and for some reason I never think about food containing alcohol, perhaps it would be different if I saw someone pour it in right in front of me. I don't think you're overreacting.

I hate to bad-mouth your father but I agree with everyone who has pointed out that his putting the wine in your sauce was a pretty jerky thing to do. In my humble opinion, your husband should have avoided giving you a hard time as well.
But having said that, you have absolutely no control over what anyone else does or thinks...so I suppose the best thing for you to do is to try and disregard what your dad or husband say. You certainly have a right to refuse food that contains an ingredient that you've specifically said you want to avoid. End of story. Let them bitch all they want, it's their problem - not yours.
