DUI, in the midst of acceptance... again... new... 5.5 days.
Hey six...I used to have tons of "friends"...they drop like flies when they find out you no longer drink. Say La Vee or whatever that saying is. I didn't let the door hit me in the butt on the way out! That is the whole stupid part. It is kind of funny. I drank bigtime..so of course I surrounded myself with drinkers. Then I was all...Where is everybody? I spose if I am bored now with the drunken antics (I am too..not the same being sober when everyone else is drunk) than it goes the other way where they must think I am boring. But I am not. SO there. Finding more sober friends is my goal now.
Thesadone,
I searched the online employee handbook everywhere for an arrest policy and could not find anything. it's online and not so easy to navigate, though i did the seach engines. The co-workers I told did not mention such a policy to me, and said they thought since it was my personal life I should be fine. Do you think it is advisable that I speak to my supervisor about this matter? I am waiting to talk to my lawyer but I don't think he's contactable until Monday... at least that's what the office told me.... and that may not even be the case.... what does Employee Assistance do? I know I have that but how could it help me?
Thanks so much,
Bonnie
