Step one done

So I did it! signed myself in detox and got out. Four days sober! Now comes the challenge. I am going home today. I did get prescribed Naltroxen. along with that and treatment I hope I can stay sober. One day at a time

Good for you for doing what you needed to do to get sober.

Good for you for taking action. That's what alcoholism requires.

You can stay sober, as you say, one day at a time.

Naltrexone works wonders for me. I am convinced I wouldn't be sober without it. Good Luck!

"one day at a time", it works. But, you need a support group. If AA isn't your thing, look for an NA meeting. Not to say this website hasn't helped tremendously with my drive to recovery, but I had a backup to help if I needed it. A great bunch of folks at a local meeting, phone numbers I can call if I get into a bind.
