Toss me a blue chip... ...I've been sober for six whole months as of today! My son is going to a meeting with me tonight to see me pick up my six-month chip. I am so grateful to all of you here at SR for your support - I couldn't have done this without all of you. Hugs to everyone here! |

Congratulations Steph ~ You're my inspiration. Ten days here and I picked up a 24 hour last night as I was ready to stand up and walk back in the room. A room I had been absent from for far too many years. The moment I stepped out of my car in that church parking lot, I knew, "Thank you Lord for bringing me home ~ I should have died in that accident last week, but here I am. I surrender and commit my life to Your calling." Oh, the mtg topic? Acceptance ~ wouldn't ya know :) Steph, I'm planning on being here for my 6th and I can share with you all how my daughers (one college, one high school) accompanied me to that mtg. WTG !!! |
