After my last binge, I think I must have dislodged some emotional anchors in my head, and thus my emotions are like fireworks right now, shooting off in several directions at the same time.

One minute I feel great and love the world, the next I want to smack something, anything, it doesn't matter.

I was cooking some carne asada meat for burritos tonight, and felt this spray of water on my ankles. I thought, hey that's really strange and turned around to discover the sink had overflowed the counter and the water was bouncing off my ankles. I had forgotten that I had turned the water on a few minutes before. That's the way my day has been, just scatterbrained and bouncing off the walls.

Oh well, the floor needed mopping anyway, lol.

Think I'll put on a rerun movie, that way I don't have to think.

At least I'm not drunk, which to me is a huge deal tonight, because the thoughts are there, only this time I'm sick of drinking, so the thoughts can just kiss off, thank you very much.

Hope you're all doing better than I am, hang tough.

Thanks for moving the thread, it wasn't really AA related. I just had a brain cramp and started it there, lol.

Made it through a Saturday night without a drink, I'm all good with that.

FS, I had quite a bit of confusion in the beginning. Think that is pretty common as our bodies are adjusting and well our heads too....lol.

I just went to put my coffee pot in the fridge the other day! LOL.....go figure.

Keep it going FS....it gets better in time.
