A Problem with Sobriety
I don't wanna get all corny or anything but in my early days learning this is what helped me and still does.
Dog,
Give me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I can, and
The Wisdom to know the difference.
(don't mean to offend anyone with the Dog thing, it's just more me )
Outpatient treatment is a wonderful idea.

newcomers and meetings
As part of this outpatient program I am in I have to go to 5 meetings a week. I notice there are different groups and you can join. I went to a meeting last night and I was just not comfortable. Among the group, there were 3 guys who used to be chronic drinkers and they all had done time in prison. They all 3 had an attitude that made me feel uncomfortable. I am going again tonight at 8 to another group meeting, this is a different one and I like it. You just have to find the right one
