I made a decision
 

Tonight I called a family I'm close with, whose daughters I teach lessons. I told them I'm unable to teach tonight because of my personal reasons. They, of course, know what those reasons are without telling me. They told me that even if I move they are willing to continue lessons with me and even let me stay in their house overnight if that works. I can't believe their love and kindness. I should mention that they are both accomplished professors at UW. What the hell do they want to do with me?

I was on the phone with the dad and told him "we're splitting up" and unsuccessuflly tried to contain my tears. He was nothing but nice and kind.

I guess I do love people.

and people love you, too! It's lovely to friendship and compassion in surprising places.
