withdrawal after relapse? please read!

Hi everybody. I finally got through opiate withdrawals a few days ago, and then the next day picked up again. I've been using (heroin) for the past 2 days and will run out today. Will I have to withdrawal again or do you think that because it was only 3 days of using there won't be any withdrawal? please help!

I really don't know anything about withdrawals from opiates or heroin. But I wanted to send some support your way, and let you know that you're not alone, and you can do this!

We can't give medical advice here, but I can share personal experience.

When I was still using and trying to quit and using again.. I went through withdrawals each time I repeated the cycle.

I hope you see a doctor if you're feeling horrible.. this can be the last time you're sick like this.

Hi again amie

Smacked is right - we can't give medical advice here - her experience, or anyone else's here - may not match yours.

It's always in your best interests to see a Dr if you're worried about withdrawal.

Are you in a programme - NA etc - have you got people to call?

D

Kiss I wanted you to know we are here for you but I have no experience with heroine. I can only say that when I relapsed and began drinking again the withdrawals were there.

I urge like others that you should check in with a Dr. to make sure all is ok. That is the best thing to do if you have concerns.

Wish you well!

Good luck! I wish I worked with a doctor when I got sober, I think it would have made me feel better about my health/mental state. If you are uncomfortable it probably couldn't hurt to consult a doctor.
