Hey yall -

I am not around here nearly as much as I would like to be these days - always busy - but I wanted to share that I have been sober for three years as of a few weeks ago, and I was looking through some old journals and on this date, three years ago, was the first time I wrote "I think I am going to make it this time."

So, today is pretty special for me, and I am grateful for all the support I have gotten here. I know it's cliche, but if I can do it, anyone can.

Sitting on one week myself, it is such a great thing to hear you made it. Because I know if you did, I can, and so can everyone else who's a newcomer or returning from a trip.

Thanks for remembering us and taking the time to stop by, it was a nice boost for me.

There are lots of days my family and friends, esp. around SR, would laugh at the clear headed part, but sobriety is indeed sweet!!!
