Aagh! I have the flu and feel awful. I don't get sick very often and I never know or feel comfortable taking anything besides Aleve. I'm gonna try Thera flu and see if that helps. I just needed to feel sorry for myself for a minute.

Stanley, tell me all about it.. Had 3 days of it, first day im actually feeling a little better, is no joke...wife of course thinks its a dose of imaginary man flu! of course, so me too had to feel sorry for myself! as there was no sympathy coming from elsewhere.. lots of fresh lemon tea, vitamin c.

if you call your doctor he can prescribe some tami-flu to help you get over it faster.

I just got my shot on Friday, it is predicted to be a bad strain this year, hitting from October through Feb.

Are you sure you have the flu? I am SO over people that get sick for 2 days and say it is the flu.

The flu it awful and can last for 7 days or more.. I know I had it. You can't even post on the computer because you are too sick to get out of bed. I crawled on the floor to get to the toilet to pee.

Thank you, all. I got taken care of today but i guess I'm on my own tomorrow. If I'm losing fluids like this for four more days I better go to the doctor.

Yes, that is a good idea.

I've been getting an annual flu shot for years.....
not sure what your doctor will suggest
but I'd definately go get checked.

Get well soon SH I thought I was coming down with something a week ago with sneezing and feeling really spacey. But I woke up the next day and felt normal.

See a doc if no improvement. Honey in the hot tea can't hurt either.
