where did I put it

I never really thought I was bad off, but this last week at work has been something else. I am now understanding how the hangovers effected me at work. I have misplaced or filed stuff in places I don't even remember. It is now driving me crazy. My head was so foggy when I was drinking and I never knew it. It is still cloudly, but I think the sun will shine again. How long will it take??????????

I think it's very much an individual thing FTW.

I probably took a little longer than most cos I had other issues, but it took me most of my first 30 days to lose the fogginess, I think.

Please see your Dr if you're worried about it.

I have lost, misplaced, and otherwise spaced so much in my drinking binges. Not all of those things were "things" either. Memories, special occasions, things that mean something to me...

But the fog is clearing and I'm starting to find them again, things I never even knew I had haha.

By the end of 2 months of AA recovery
I was back in mental and physical balance.

I was also following...with my doctors permission..
an eating plan + supplements.

I think it took me that long as I was 52
and decades of drinking ..the last 5 alcoholically.

Glad you are still on the sober journey ..

I detoxed a bunch of times and each one of those were unique... sometimes the fog lifted in a day or two and sometimes it really did take about 4 weeks.

Take your vitamins, drink lots of water and exercise...sweat saves!
