Day 2
Today is my second day, and in a few hours it will have been 48 hours. I'm currently in class, feeling a little nauseous and anxious and just happy that my parents were originally angry at me are being a lot more supportive. I'm grateful for them supporting me get sober again.
My one problem is the anxiety today and I have a long day of classes. I got a water and gatorade to help the nausea but I can tell it's going to be a rough long day. I also didn't sleep too well last night and feel a little groggy.

I'm right there with you, kafoo. day 2 club! of course I'm experiencing some serious withdrawal symptoms. I have a doctor's appt this afternoon, so we might see just how many excess miles I've put on this body in the last 16 years.
Kafoo...good work and the same too you June. Checking in with the dr. is a great idea and know that you never have to go through this again with sobriety. I found it tough at first....with the physical piece and then the readjustment to not have my routine...my habit. Having a program of support in place helped me learn positive ways of dealing with lifes and ups and downs.
Keep it going guys. Don't forget your B vitamins. Very important.
All the best

Kafoo and June44 it looks like we are the day 2 group huh? I totally agree with Kmber about the B vitamins...it's really helping. Kafoo, stay strong today and I know you can make it. Thanks for posting.
The beggining of Day 2 for me as well. I know what you mean about a sleepless night. I had nightmares but I heard that is a side effect that should get better in a few days.
Good luck, Stay strong.

So many in the day 2 crew, it really helps. I was sober for 10 months then binged this past weekend. I'm back on track but can't make it to a meeting today because of my busy class schedule on Tuesdays. My hunger is actually coming back now and of course I'm stuck in class for another hour or so. Sigh.
