Just wanted to say hi, and that I am sorry for not really being around. There has been so much going on and things have been really crazy. No drinking though. Not even wanting to drink. Just been focusing on what will be happening over the next few months that will be making things even better for me and my husband. I'm really looking forward to where things are going. I have also realized that it takes more than just giving birth to someone for them to be considered a parent. My mother just doesn't seem to care about me and my husband. I was in the hospital, actually twice this month, and my mom has not said anything at all about it. There is a lot more than that to it, but that is just kinda like the final straw I guess.

But anyway. I'm back and feeling great. I am kinda re-thinking the whole AA route though, only because I just don't seem to have time lately to go to the meetings and I feel like I am letting people down. But, we will see how things go, I guess.

I'm sorry about the issues that you have with your mother, but sometimes making boundaries and protecting yourself is the way to go.
