7 days.. OMG a WHOLE Week!

Can I just say WOOT for 7 days... a full week.. I have to say this could truly be the time. And, nothing has helped more the SR and AA.

So can someone please explain to me what it means to "work the steps"? I have gotten the number of a girl in my local group and have attempted to call her one night when I wanted a drink really bad. But, is that what it means?

Congrats on 7 days! "Working the Steps" means to go through the 12 Steps with someone else in recovery--such as a sponsor.

Congartulations! And welcome to your new life.
You sound so positive it's inspiring

Yes, work the steps with a sponsor who has long time sobriety. They'll show you the way.

Keep doing what your doing, it seems to be working. And remember, you never have to drink again.

By the end of the first week most of the physical w/d should be over and you should start feeling a bit better, more human. Congrats on your sober week! And many more sober weeks to come!
