Speaking of Withdrawals...

I have been reading of some symptoms of withdrawals...I did well on my own with detox. I went through the sick stomach, the irritability, the crying, the strange mixed up and foggy mind. All of these were tough but one thing that is still with me, and really bad today, is the headaches. I can't seem to get enough ibuprophen and it just WON'T go away for any longer than a few mins. I have had days up until now where it was much better but it is awful today. Any idea why this would be and if there is anything wrong that may be causing this...I am not asking for medical advice, just personal experience cause it is hard to tollerate.

Hi Mama,

I don't know what the headaches are about, but I really do think you should check with your dr. I found that during the years when I was drinking, I had ignored my health in general and not kept up with routine things. So, it's really a good idea to get checked out.

You might be dehydrated, try some sports drinks. You may be out of wack with electrolytes. Go to doc to ease your worry.Good luck Mama

I agree with Anna - there's a lot of reasons for headaches...and other peoples experiences here may not be applicable at all to whatever is causing yours, D - go see a doctor and put your mind at rest

Gentle Donna...

While you are at the doctors..please ask for an eye exam.
You may find you need glasses or if you wear them
a change of lens is necessary.

So many things can cause headaches....best not to guess.

WelcomeMelou

Every detox was different for me and I had hundreds.

I'll give you the same advice - it may be normal, it may not be - none of us are doctors here - if you're concerned, please see your Dr
