Kicked my newest "best friend" out

Last Wednesday was the last time I took a Zanax, my newest "best friend". I needed him around for a week or so after I kicked my other "best friend", alcohol, out. Mr. Z was very helpful, but we both new ahead of time it was only going to be a short stay.

Day 16 and I feel great!

Great! Now your head is really clear. I had to get off the xanax too at the treatment center. I kept finding those little yellow pills after I got back and kept flushing them down the toilet.

Good work. I too had to part with my pain meds when I got sober. I found they all were part of the same social circle.

Keep it going :)

I am not sure how long you at xanax, but keep in mind that it is a physically dependent drug. So just make sure to get help if you start to go through withdrawal. My brother was hooked on that stuff and it took him a long time to be right again.

milwaukee, it was about 12 days. I had been warned that addiction comes at 2 weeks, or if you are doing too much. I did low dosages and then cut them in half then in half then no more. No withdrawls at all. Feels really nice!

Have been getting headaches but not severe.
