Day Three and Light Headed

Hi Everybody,

I'm on day three and still not sleeping very well. But this morning I feel a little light headed.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, for about 10 days or so...it will pass. I went form light headed into a bit of a foggy mind...and now my mind is becoming more clear.

I was very light-headed -- for me it was probably a combination of WDs, major detoxing and lack of food... and just changes in my brain. Congrats on your sober time.

Oh yes, I am sure a LOT of us have experienced that and many much worse. You are fine. The thought I always like to keep is that I NEVER have to go through it again. (IF I don't pick up again)

You are still in the initial de tox stage.

Drink a lot of water...land Gatorade is also good
to flush the toxins from your mind and body.

Try to eat small meals of healthy things
and walking is also helpful.

Yes....you too can win ..this can be your final withdrawal.

Everybody's different. I was not really "light headed", but I was surely "foggy minded" for several days. It goes away and you find your mind clearer than it's been in years.

hi Beerbgone

I know it was a fairly common thing for me in detox but please do check with your doctor if you feel in any way concerned about this.

Somewhere around here there's a thread where a bunch of people posted day-by-day descriptions of their detox (withdrawal) symptoms... ::looking:: ... Here it is!

As for me, oddly I seem to have cold-like symptoms - cough, sneeze, stuffy head - but then again, maybe I just coincidentally caught a cold. Started last night with 6 days sober after a 9-year relapse.
