Here I am
So I just joined maybe 10 mins ago. Im about 4 days out of the hospital for an accidental overdose and trying this sobriety thing again. I have felt numb about the whole experience and after almost dying the heartbeat counter actually brought a tear to my eye which is the first emotion I have had about the whole scene. So i figure why not?

Welcome to SR! It took a trip to the emergency room for me to finally wake up and realize what I'd been doing to myself for years. I remember how scared and alone I felt as I went home and started my sober journey. That was 14+ months ago and life just keeps getting better and better.

Hope. So glad you decided to join this community, you will love it here. Take one day at a time or even 10 minutes at a time and you will start to feel so much better as the days go on. Enjoy your Sunday, hope you are able to relax and enjoy it.
