And I feel great. MY appetite is back (gotta watch that one) energy level is back up, still not sleeping well but that will get better. Even food tastes different, better. People that come in where I work notice, they say " wow, you look good" I guess I was starting to look pretty bad there at the end.

And I'm really blessed that I found this Forum. I can't say enough about all the wonderful folks and support I get just from reading and I do read several hours a day. Thank you, everyone! Day 10 is next! Yeeeeeeee Hawwwwwww!

Oh, I was proud of this one, Tuesday night s is Sushi night. I'm not giving that one up. My 2 friends and I used to drink a few hot saki's. I didn't even hesitate, I told them I didn't mind if they drank, then I ordered a nice big mug of Green Tea. I didn't even have a thought about drinking. It just seems so contrary to what I am acheiving. I'm not going back. Period.

Day #9 was a big turning point for me, it was a quantum leap from day 7-8. Keep it up, it gets better!

Good for you Cotton Wood Chris... congrats on your sober time. Your positive attitude and strong commitment to staying sober will carry you. Taking it one day at a time will help the process.

Well, day 11 and it's a beautiful day. Blue skies, nice breeze. Finally getting some sleep. Had some tremors in my left arm last night, kinda freaked me out. Ate a Tiger's Milk Bar and they went away (I remember Carol's suggestion about hard candies for the shakes)

Anyways, I feel great. Time to do some house work and laundry, maybe play some video games. Have a great day, and thanks again to all of you!

I started eating more too, but being sober gave me more strength when working out so I am able to push myself to burn more cals =P
