Thank you for helping me!
I was desperate having the worst anxiety attack and withdrawals 2 days ago. Whoever chatted with me in the chat room (i can't remember much of the conversation) but it did make me realise when I got worse I needed to go to hospital.
THANK YOU, sober recovery community, this potentially saved my life after I started having seizures. Here is to never experiencing that again & finding hope for the future in your stories.
Please go to hospital if the question so much as comes into your thoughts that you are serious enough to need medical attention... don't be embarrassed or as stubborn as I was.

Dear Lou,
I had the worst anxiety attacks in early recovery too, but didn't have this kind of support in my toolbox.
I'm so glad you did and that you found comfort and solice here.
Please stick around as you recover...the results and support are astounding.

You are a smart person by getting the help you needed... withdrawal from alcohol can be critical. Anxiety is the worst... it affect so many areas of you body and mind.
Just take one day a time and you will succeed Lou.
Stay in touch, SR is a wonderful place to hang out -- it is always inspiring to read about each person's successful journey and also offer support, friendship, and understanding to those who are "having a bad day".
And to know we are all in this together.
