New - How do you start a thread or post something?

Can somebody tell me how you start a thread or post something. Or where to go to get instructions?

I have registered.

hi Time - when you go to the forum that shows the threads - the button is at the bottom left of the list. welcome to SR!

For example - if you go to the window that says 'cafe central' it lists all the thread titles - go to the bottom left and there's a button that says 'new thread' or something like that.
