update on Bubba
hi everyone , just thought id let those who know the bubba , that I finally recieved a card from her yesterday .. I was so elated to finally hear from her ,
As some mite know shes in rehab in Kentucky , shes doing very well as she said , and was finally able to get some privilages .
from what she said its a 6-12 month program , which is a good thing for the Bubba , It will give her a chance to get her feet planted on the ground and begin a new life for her .
She said its hard being she dont have any outside family support , so we are her family pretty much . so If you would like to write her . ( only serious inquires only ) please drop me a note and Ill pass the addresss to you .
shes attendinhg meetings and church .
said there feeding her well , which is a good thing for her , she never had $ to eat . Im very proud of Bubba ( bug ) as I call her . and you all who know her send her good thoughts and prayers that it gets easier for her .
Massive huggles , and ill keep you all posted on the next letter I get from her

Thanks, ez,
I don't know Bubba (I'm fairly new to the forums) but maybe we can collect a whole bunch of good wishes for her here on this thread and you can print 'em out and mail them to her.
Bubba, congrats on your progress--I am SO happy to hear you got into a good place where you will be able to get your feet solidly under you. You keep doing the work, and you've got a wonderful FREE life ahead of you!

Thanks for the update. Sometimes a re-training of the whole day to day process and 'processing' emotions are needed. From what I understand she never had much of example growing up. This will do a lot since she 'wants' to be sober.
Please keep the updates coming. And please tell her AG is 'Doing a little dance, shaking a little butt for her.." LOL

Thanks so much for the update on Bubba. I too, would like to send my heartfelt support and prayers her way. So happy to hear she is doing well. I would like the address to write her and show my support.
Good for her Endzie!!! Please send her warm wishes from us. I'm glad she's in long term treatment, that's what I did, and they place I work at is long term/for as long as you need. It's the way to go. Awesome for her!
Thanks! I was just wondering how she was doing & am so glad to hear this news. I think she'll benefit greatly from longterm rehab. She never gave up on the belief she could have a better life, and now she will be able to.
