It's a
(usually an open discussion)
meeting where they pick an article
out of the AA publication 'The Grapevine' and read it - then discuss it.

THey're a lot of fun!

I totally LOVE The Grapevine. I used to read my ex-husband's copies thirty years ago.

Please, anyone who loves The Grapevine, buy a subscription. Buy several--they make great gifts for anyone. Buy extras to donate to a hospital or institution.

The Grapevine is in serious financial difficulty right now, and there's a chance it will be discontinued, which would be a real shame. It's a great place to get ES&H from people all over the English-speaking world (La Vina is the Spanish equivalent).

Good point Lexie....thnaks for bringing that up.

My home group just voted to add 6 more copies to
our monthly delivery of 12. We sell them at cost.

We also re-cycle our old copies ..sharing them over
and over....

Sometimes groups change their meeting formats, but the meeting list hasn't been updated. Also, some groups may rotate formats. (E.g., alternating Grapevine and Big Book study). Why not ask a member of that group what happened? Someone may know of another Grapevine meeting in the area.

Anyway, a Big Book study is always good.
