Day 3

My third day without booze came and went without the desire to drink. I spent most of it working in the office and then spent time with family. I feel blessed, but I also know that not everyday will go this smooth. Right now I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep.

Nice job Chip. You are right and there will be some rough days. Stock on your support now to get you through those days.

Great job! Wish my 3rd day went as smooth, no desire... but I had an emotional day. I'm better now. Hope both of our 4th days go well
Keep it up!!

Good for you, Chip!

And, no, not every day will be easy, but you will have the resources to deal with issues without drinking.

take each day as it comes...enjoy the good ones....one thing i've learned in being sober is that nothing is a big a deal as it used to be....the problems haven't changed, but my perspective has....I'm a lot more logical and less volatile and reactive. i don't ruffle as easily and my temper doesn't flare for every little thing.

congrats on having a good day, i hope you have many more.

For a lot of folks, this was the hardest day. I know so far it was for me. Congrats ChipAway! Tomorrow looks bright!

Well done on 3 days, Chip.

I agree with the others - take each day for what it is, for now
Reach out if you need to
