Good Morning!

It's a cloudy day here too, but it's all good.

I am up after being sober for two days. I can't explain how nice it is to wake up with a clear head and calm stomach. I slept for 9 hours! Other than waking up at briefly at 2:30, I slept great. Even had dreams which are rare for me.

Good morning! Since getting sober, I think I can count on one finger the number of times I have slept in past 8:00 AM on a weekend! You will be amazed at what you can get accomplished on a weekend when you aren't busy nursing a hangover and planning your day around making the liquor store run.

I am actually excited about it being overcast here today, since it means I can get some things done inside without feeling guilty about wasting the sunshine.

I love seeing all your posts. I was up early too, fertilizing before the rain. I'm looking forward to doing a bunch of indoor stuff without the draw of the sun. I am always happy to hear about good sleeps and peaceful mornings.

No, seriously. I feel fantastic. Getting ready to go do a little shopping with the family. Normally, I'd be a couple beers in now, it being Saturday. I can't believe what I put this family through.

life is good and I feel well both physically and mentally.

Happy Saturday everyone! Its a gorgeous morning here! Today is 40 days for me, and tonight is my high school reunion...should be interesting to say the least!

I must be the oddball. Even sober, I still don't want to rise early. I did rise early in my first year or so of sobriety, but, since, I've fallen back into at least sleeping until 8:30.
