Day 5

Cleaning the house.....and in MEGA bear mode. I feel bad for my poor bf I'm griping his head off today.

Take a deep breath, Maggi, and know that things will be better.

Turn on some good music, have a refreshing shower and be kind to yourself.

Maggi, stay strong. There are good times and bad times.

hey, there is nothing wrong with taking your aggressions out on the house....(less to do when you are feeling better and want to play). al the physical housecleaning will make you more tired for a good night's sleep.

congrats on Day 5 too....and your sober weekend!

This is common, Maggie - believe me.
Anna's advice is good too

Better the house gets it than your bf

Congrats for all you day 5ers! I had alot of irritability the first several weeks and from what I can tell, a lot of people go through that too. It comes and goes, but after a couple months, I probably felt calmer and more content than I had in years.

Keep up the good work and if you run out of places to clean, let me know!

Not me. I've been as lovable and snuggly as a cactus.

Yeah, I'm a little short tempered and edgy. But it's worth it. I've experienced my kids these last couple days in a way that honestly I don't think I ever have.
