I do need Sephora!

Until there is a Sephora recovery website, I am powerless against my addiction to Sephora.

I just went to Sephora's for the first time this weekend. They just opened in my city. I loved it! It was like a candy store for grown up girls. I spent a good amount, then bought a card, folded a $100 in it, dropped by my oldest daughter's house, and gave it to her out of the blue. I told her she had to spend on herself at Sephora's, no matter what else she "should" be spending the money on. She was so happy! That was fun.

I finally like the person I am today.

I like helping people and expecting nothing in return.

I like telling my wife I love her today.

I like my 3 cats, their unconditional love and the funny things they do to make me laugh.

I too like saying hi to people with a smile on my face, and if they smile back, they made my day.

I like making the right choices today.

I can teach my students to write an effective Curriculum Vitae and Personal Statement for their Surgical Residency applications...I can get them to relax during a mock interview.

I can organize 30 different surgeons to teach around their busy schedules (it's equivalent to herding cats).

I can herd MY cats (if necessary)

I always a have a slush fund for emergencies.
