You certainly aren't alone, especially when you have all these wonderful people caring for you, and willing to listen all night if it helps. I pray that you are able to get into treatment, and find the help you are searching for. Until then, please keep coming back here and talking. xoxo

ok...i'm going to treatment
treatment in and of itself is not an answer.
i'm just giving myself something to give me the oportunity to find the real deal....I talked to the director there and he understands my purpose in going and says that we will work on this goal
I have to get beyond step 2 or i will die....don't worry i'm not suicidal i'm just saying that is what this desiese does to us...my son agrees and supports me...the rest of my family think i'm insane...my freinds...well they just know they can't hlp.

my best decisions have always come after contemplating the situation in silence, away from outside influences, including being away from those around us who are concerned, mean well and love us.
Just taking 5 mins, no music, no phones (good, the cell is absent for now anyway), concentrate on the situation at hand, your fears, and ask for an answer....it will come.
you're in my good thoughts and prayers.

You and I have been on a few different wavelengths as far as this whole recovery thing goes, but you know I love and support you 100%. Do what you think is right and we all are pulling for you!! No matter what, I'm ride or die with you.

Ananda, I'm so sorry to hear about your bad time. I guess it goes to show that even if someone is full of wisdom and strength and hard work, IT can creep up and enter lives.
My road to recovery is bumpy, not 100% success, to put it lightly. I keep struggling though. Today, hopefully, I will not make all bad choices.
It sounds like the right choice was to go to to treatment. Today is a new day, it's all any of us have.
I'm thinking of you; I'm not a pray-er (not yet), but I'm sending all sorts of good vibes out there for you, and I think you're brave and talented and kind.

I too have discovered this thread a "lot" late. But I've been reading your posts for about 9 months and feel like you are a friend, even tho you don't know me. I have been in treatment (month long) twice and it didn't stick either time. But I didn't have the desperation that I would have had last year (when I didn't have the money). As you can see from all the posts, you have SOOO... many people that care about you. Don't give up. I periodically try to learn about Buddhism and know Ananda. Stay well and stay in touch.
