New here but 12 years sober I am new here and I am very glad to have found you. I have been sober for 12 years. Recently, I found myself caught up in some behaviors that could lead me back to a drink. I am trying to turn my focus back to my complete sobriety, family and true friends. I look forward to spending time here. |
Congratulations on all the sober time. I joined SR last week for similar reasons. I've been sober for 2+ years, but I could see the drink returning to my life if I didn't make some changes. Good to see someone who has so much sober time. You're an inspiration! :You_Rock_ |

Hi Dini, welcome to SR! This is a great place to be. Congrats on your sober life! I never did any kind of formal recovery program and have been sober for 3 yrs. W/O SR I might be inclined to take my sobriety for granted which could lead to slipping so I visit here often and it's great for keeping me on track. |
