I am on my day one of being sober... and of course i sarted my period today. just an added bonus...

oh firsttimer BLECH....ok...found an upside.....without drinking you will only be HALF as bloated!!!

WELCOME Firsttimer! Congratulations on choosing today to get sober. I finally decided I couldn't put it off either, and now I wish I'd gotten sober sooner.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so great, but things are going to get much better in a few days, so hang in there. Hope you'll keep reading and posting - together we can all do this!:grouphug:

We like to say Aunt Rose or Aunt Flo are in town??? How about you? OR maybe we should post this in the female forum to keep the code words on the down low. My hats off to ya, I made sure that I quit right after Aunt Flo left town :P

Oh, to all you newcomers, in the newcomers daily section there is a thread for people with under two weeks sobriety...I found it eeally helpful:-)
