Pick up on someone who's also going dry on SR at the same time as you and use them as markers for your own recovery. It helped me a lot to see others on this board succeeding at staying off alcohol "one day at a time." I see them now, months down the line, as totally changed people. No more desperation, no more doom, no more anxiety.
