As Dee said, the point was not to get patted on the back, but to explain to new members a bit about how we operate and that we are a team.
And, I love Carol's point. It's wonderful to focus on the similarities that we have, rather than the differences.

In the many times I have come and gone from here..you have always said just what I needed to hear. I think you deserve a standing ovation....(stands up and claps really hard)...(then get up and grills a hotdog..since I cant find a standing ovation smilie)
