I can personally vouch that ((Anna)), ((Dee)) and ((Carol)), as well as the other mods and greeters do an awesome job here. I'm usually the slacker, and ((Dee)) backs me up In all fairness, I do have 2 jobs and school, so don't get to come here as often as I'd like.

SR was the first forum I'd ever visited, and has become my family. I know, without a doubt, I woudn't be where I am, today, without all of you.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

The newcomer is the most important person anywhere in recovery. And you three, do a terrific job helping them to feel safe and at home. Not an easy job, as we all have had our own experience being the newcomer and know exactly what those feelings are. And trying to do this over cyberspace is not as easy a task as when it is face 2 face. In person, you see what their feeling in his or her face and you can indentify, and it allows you to be a little more personal. And, I don't believe that person to person, any of us deal with as many as you guys do here.

Thank you guys for doing a VERY GOOD JOB and being the people you are.

For me, this is the best recovery site that I have ever been involved in. All of the staff deserve a pat on the back for doing a good job.

God bless and keep on doing what you are doing.

Harry

Thanks Everyone for your kind words

I want to bring up a point I think is important.

Anna is a Canadian ...Dee Austrilian ..I'm American.
We each found our personal recovery in different ways.
We are of different ages...with different experiences.
And yet....we are the same.

Regardless of where you live....or how you choose your path

Yes! you too can win over alcohol!

Y'all enhance my life each day....

You guys already know how I feel about you both and SR as a whole.
Dee is my kick in the pants when I know I need it. I know I can count on any one of you to tell me the truth no matter how awful it may be. You both can deliver in a gentle but fair way. Not only to me but for countless others I have seen.

I will always stand behind every one of you , newcomers or not 100%.

I truly care about you all and have the deepest respect for what you do and how you do it. And most of all WHY you do it.
Much love and respect

Anna, Dee, Carol - Thank you all so much for what do and for continuing the supportive environment here at SR.

I know the truth and that is I had no belief, ambition, or dare I say the courage(because I didn't have it before) to rise up and get sober. Sobriety became a reality for me when I reached out for help and was guided by all the fine folks I have met here.

I am 10 days shy now of 4 months sobriety. I am definitely proof that SR is a blessing.

Thanks again guys. I couldn't express enough emotions in these words to tell you all how much I love your support and I share this sober journey with you.

Never drink again and I finally got it!!!

Thanks to all of you from Italy!!!

Carol, Anna and Dee,

You all should feel so good knowing how many of us are surviving and in recovery because of your dedication to this site.

When I came here the first time (mind you my very first attempt at any type of forum) my life was saved. I can't be sure if I would have made it those first few weeks. I was so sick, so alone and so lost.... Here at SR I found a life line, I grabbed on to it, read and read though all the posts and all the threads. That is what kept me sober and what kept me sane.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will forever be grateful!
