new here and Fed Up with this multi-faceted addiction
Hi everyone... I'm a newborn in recovery. I don't really have it in me right now to post too much about myself or my addiction(s), but I wanted to introduce myself. I could use some prayers/positive vibes.
I just joined the forum, but I really like what I see... this seems like it could be a good place to give/receive support. Not that I'm exactly in any kind of position to be giving support at this moment. But I am determined.

Welcome to SR, Aurora! You will find much support here from people who understand what you are going through. Hang around a while and read the forums and especially the stickies at the top of this forum. There is a lot of good and valuable wisdom to be found there.
Admitting you have a problem is, as I'm sure you know, the first step to recovery. Is your problem with alcohol, drugs or both? We have forums for all types of addictions here. I hope you will stick around and read and post a lot. We are here to support you!

Glad you're here! You'll find not only support here, but people who really understand what it's like to have a substance or alcohol addiction. It's hard to talk about it at first, I know.

Welcome to SoberRecovery Aurora. Ditto on what Bruce said. I always get support from the newcomer myself. How? you may ask. Well like Bruce said, I see it's not getting any better out there. And....reminds me of the way I felt when I first came in. I don't want to ever feel that way again. After a while things will get better.
