My ollld screen name in a bunch of places is/was smackmesober, sort of a play on one of many DOCs..and now I'm sober. |
"Lexie" has a dual meaning: "lex" as in "word" (I AM the WORD GEEK and "lex" as in "law" (I'm a lawyer). I've been using "Lexie" as an online handle for quite awhile, and when I adopted a cat a few years ago, I named her after my online alias! Sort of a twist on those who name themselves after their pets. :) Just in case there are other word geek lawyers out there, here's a limerick a former colleague of mine wrote: If another cartoonist elects To plagiarize Disney's effects His case will succeed In court, should he plead, "De Minnie Mouse Non Curat Lex." |

Mine's probably a little more mundane.. Never saw myself as anything much. Just Joanne !! And my picture..... I love dogs...especially sleepy, calm ones. Looks a little like me tooo! haha |
My screen name came from my love of Dodge Magnums. This was my car from 2005 - 2008 but it was repo'd. Just love this thread..... As for me, I have to admit that when I joined, I was already into my 7th or 8th drink and couldn't come up with even one clever sobriety name. So..... I figured, well I'm an artist, right? OK...... So then I'm thinking that before I started drinking alot, my spirituality was the most important thing to me (and something I needed to get back). Hence art-soul. |

I found this site about 15 hours after my last blackout,......having never heard of a "forum", the first anonymous screen name (?) that came to me was of an unusual cat I had 25 years ago. He would follow us out to the tennis courts and fall asleep just off the doubles line while we were banging balls. Curiously calm cat. |
well,my name came from my daughter`s ball playing when she was young and in school. It was allays softball or basketball...bal,ball,ball....auggg if someone else wasn`t coaching her,then the girls hit me up to do it and take them to games and tourneys.....I was so relieved when she got to high school and dropped sports and focused on school and boys my name is Tommy and a few friends call me T also |

cissybug__ well mine is cause when i was a little girl my older sister could not say my name... so she always called me cissy... well then from her.. it went on to everyone... all my family...(not even sure most of them even know my real name...lol lol) i added the bug cause when i was making my ***** name years ago...cissy was already taken so my 6 year old neice use to call me her aunt cissybug kinda goofy but that is how it was made :) Cissy (jen) |
