thinking im gone make it tonight i feel like crap from last night its next weekend that worries me fridays is when it calls me i always say i wont drink and end up drinking its like i dread it but do it anyway like a slave to it i hate it

Just make sure that you don't drink 'just for today'. Thinking negatively about next Friday isn't going to help anything. Try to keep your thinking rooted in the present day. It makes everything easier to cope with, including staying sober.

I know each morning after I drank had me feeling ashamed and depressed. I would either get drinking again to feel better (sad huh?) or I would swear off the booze until I felt better and I forgot the shakes and aches and pains.
Stay strong. You are not a slave......sobriety is yours tonight. Keep it going and share the journey.
