Worst thing for me is the ANXIETY!!! Fortunately for me I never have to go thru that nightmare again if I just stay sober!

No particular order:

Apologies to the family
Zero motivation
Anxiety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Depression
Heart Palpataions

My brain used to take the brunt of the detox. Seldom did I ever feel real bad.... hasn't been a problem since last year

I did a 6 day medical detox at a facility. I didn't feel a thing except a bit foggy headed for a week or two.

I had already done the handcuffing, fingerprinting, spending the night in jail thing a couple of years prior. I was stubborn, I guess.

Let's see in order of highest annoyance first:

Anxiety - can't sleep
Shakes
Sweats and Chills
Sickness in stomach - no appetite
Disorientation of the mind

In no particular order:

1. Sweats/shakes
2. Not feeling up to getting the daily stuff done
3. The sudden onslaught of all the stuff I should have done last week
4. Not knowing if/when I'll be able to sleep/stay awake
5. Knowing this could all have been avoided if I hadn't drank again

Reason for doing it:
1. Since I already know it's not gonna be fun for a little while, obviously the pain was bad enough when I decided to quit that it must be worth it--even if I can't see it at the moment.

Take care y'all.
