Reaching out towards people in my past

I need to find someone who I have wronged but am afraid that they might not accept me for who I am. I am also worried that they might attack me or try and sell me meth and I know I am not strong enough to say no.

I googled searched their name but couldnt find anything. I went on to try and contact their friends through email pretending to be someone else.
Should I fess up to them?

I admire your dedication to trying to right wrongs but it seems to me you are exposing yourself to dangers you might not be able to conquer in a positive way
and the person you are trying to right wrongs with might be him or herself still very much prepared to commit wrongs to other people. Why don't you back away from this one and write it on your list of wrongs to mend in the future. I'm sure that righting wrongs does not mean jeopardise your sobriety or you health.

My advice is to focus on your recovery and don't put yourself at risk.

Maybe you are not ready yet.

Kiverse,

IMO I don't think this would be a good idea. Maybe give it some time. I commend you on trying but would hate to see you put yourself in jeopardy. Take care

I know I am not strong enough to say no.
I think that's your answer, kiverse.

Give yourself credit for having the willingness to make amends, and let it go until the right time presents itself (and ONLY when you feel safe doing so).:ghug3
