Over 50 hours.
Over 50 hours.
I'm thankful that I hit my low the other day because I've lived the realest past 50 hours of my life. I haven't had a drink in over 50 hours. And I don't want to. Yay to me. One second, one minute, one hour at a time Thanks for all the support in my last few posts.
This is exactly how I did it and honestly continue to handle sobriety. I don't look too far down the path but live each moment sober and continue to make more positive change.
Its funny that most of the positive change I refer to wasn't from some huge, well thought out plan per se. It seemed the change came from daily sober living and the decisions and choices I made sober.
Keep it going my friend. I work my recovery in the understanding that I can control when or not I drink but once I begin to drink I am powerless. One sip is all it will take to take right back to the bottom.

Excellent! Keep up the good work. I had to take it a minute at a time sometimes. Hanging out here really helped me get through the first week especially. Think positive and be patient with yourself - you can do this!
