Has anyone else ever had this done before? I am wanting to understand what others experiences were like.

I had a course of 6 treatments in my late teens - what do you want to know?

I wanted to know what others experiences were/ are with ETC.

I have no experience with ECT, but I did watch a program from PBS called "This Emotional Life". In the second segment (of three) they follow a teenaged girl named Caitlin through her struggle with depression and is given ECT treatment after other meds/therapy failed. It quite interesting as they show the entire process and the what's behind it. It seemed to help her but I don't know if they followed up later.

It's an interesting program. I downloaded it from Itunes and it cost $5.00 for the entire series of three two-hour episodes. A great deal!
