Good day everyone!
I don't know if I'm suppose to start a new thread and I'm totally not sure how forums work. But I'm here and I'm very glad to be.

Welcome Jojo. I am new as well, on day 9! It was a relief to me too to quit drinking and decide to participate in this forum instead of just lurking and reading. You will find a lot of support and meet some great people here whose stories are similar if not almost identical to yours. It was cool to me to realize that I am not alone since I tended to isolate myself. Stick with it and visit often!

I am so sick of the choas, and the madness. I'm sick of the constant planning and rearranging my life to accomodate my drinking. I'm sick of not doing things because it interferes with my drinking.
I'm tired of feeling like a timebomb when it comes to my health. I'm just sick and tired of it. lol

Jojo - what you said is exactly what I was thinking during my last binge. I had to get off the rollercoaster - I was driving myself insane with my 24/7 drinking.
I recall having to take alcohol with me to even grocery shop - dodging into the ladies room & swigging it down so I wouldn't shake. My need for it was running my life - I couldn't even go to the movies - 2 hrs. was too long to be without my supply.
You don't have to be a slave to it any longer. A new day will dawn for you. I'm so glad you're going to dump the junk and get well.
