TOPIC: EASY DOES IT Every day
Hi Im Sharon and Im
an Alcoholic.
By the grace of my
HP and people like
you here in SR I
havent found it
necessary to pick
up a drink of alcohol
since 8-11-90.
For that and you
I am truely grateful
I had to learn that
we must learn to
walk before we can
run.
That's why we have
slogans in our recovery
program.
I use that "Easy Does It"
every day, to slow me
down a little.
I have to watch myself
all the time.
So I don't just take
my inventory at night,
I take it continually
throughout the day.
Before I step out
during the day and
do anything, I stop
and check it over first,
and then let my conscience
be my guide.
Try this for urself and
see what happens.

Hi Sharon!! Step 10 has always been my favorite!!
Great post. In the beginning I thought all those cliche's were so redundant, and over done, now I'm a walking talking recovery cliche', lol!!
Also why I love picking up a meditation book in the morning and do a little reading to inspire me. I'm ultra busy with full time job, going back to college and my ten year old son (he's more independent these days though ) so I keep myself in check to make sure I stay good and balanced.
