I am going to my first AA meeting tonight. I have went before but they were all forced this is the first time I will go because I want to and I am scared. I really don't know what to expect.

its hard but I will do anything to get my life back on track. hope you take the chance I am not sure it will help but at this point I will do any thing.

I've been there Wilson. Just listen and see if you take anything from it. Try to make connections- sometimes you get a packet on it with numbers of people you can call if you feel you may drink.

You can do it, Wilson! You're doing it for you this time, which makes all the difference. Just remember that the fear is almost always worse than the reality. You'll be fine once you get there. Good luck and tell us how it went when you get back!

Expect love, tolerence, and acceptence. That's what I found, but I went to my first meeting scared too. Fear knocked on the door, faith answered, and no one was there. Have faith that you are doing the right thing and all will be well. God Bless
