...really sucks.

Either 9:00am which at that time I am just waking up or 8:00pm which is too late for me. Why can't there be a 2:pm or a 6:pm or something in between? You'd think that in this area there would be more variety...Kinda frustrating.


I'd be willing to drive a reasonable distance for a meeting, maybe 15-25 miles.

Anybody in the S.F. (East Bay) area who knows of more meetings than I am finding online?

I find it hard to believe that those are the only meeting times in the bay area. Maybe try researching a little harder. I first got clean in seattle and there were both aa and na meetings going on just about around the clock. Have you looked to see if there's an alano club in your area? they're all over the northwest and i'd suspect nocal as well.

As an alcoholic I probably had similar frustrations like you. But with true honesty do you really think 9am or 8pm are problematic times for most people. The world doesn't revolve around us, we just thought it did. Please consider that you don't dictate the world's timetable, everyone does.
If due to your schedules you can't make the AA meetings then there is always SR, open 24/7.

Starting Monday I will be working in the AM. Tomorrow I am going to go to the AM meeting here in Fairfield.

I should have specified NA meetings, maybe that is why there are not a whole lot.
