Good idea.8 days for me and on book #3.
Reading has become my main diversion along with jogging to help beat back any temptations.

Congrats on your 3 weeks, notnormal!

Congrats on 3 weeks, you are off to a great start.

This is not an addiction, and not OCD, at least IMHO. If it is an addiction you are a rank amateur, I have been known to read 6 books a week.

Sobriety offers us a chance to get back into healthy activities that we used to do, before we were so busy getting drunk and high. Don't forget about the body too - get some exercize.

Book warm is not bad. There are real addictions which addicts move from another addictions. I spend lots of time reading. Reading is really fun.

thanks all, i was kidding.
i'm enjoying the time i have to read.
when drinking at home i could never read more than a few pages without falling asleep so it's a nice change to be able to tear through a book in a few evenings...
just another benefit..

Hi Notnormal. I did that, too - anything that would redirect my thoughts away from drinking or feeling sorry for myself. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying this new phase of your life.
