For the first time in 3 years I went through an entire day without drinking, smoking weed, or doing DXM. Tonight I am actually going to sleep, not just pass out. When I wake up I'm going to pray for the strength to make it through another day sober, go to AA, go here, and try to straighten out my debt issues the best I can right now. Last night at this time I was drunk, bawling, and pondering suicide. Tonight I am sober, non-suicidal, and proud of myself. Thank you all for your support I'm glad I found this site.

Right on,,Just keep doin what your doin,,one day at a time,,If you havent already get some numbers to people in aa were you are and try to call one recoveribg person each day,,it helps to have the practice on the days when that phone can get real heavy,,and you make some cool freinds,,keep commin back and let us know how ur doin,,It was helpful to me in the begining to make a gratidtude list each day of 10 thigs i was greatful for,,just a thoght,,

Way to go!! Just keep taking it a day at a time - you can do it! I still love waking up knowing I didn't drink the night before. This place has been a lifesaver for me, so keep posting and good luck on the finances - things can only get better if we stay clean and sober!!
