Hi,

It seems like it has been forever since I have visited this site...

I have been sober twenty one months and it all started with this site...I could not have achieved this without joining this site and I also went to AA meetings...

Has it been easy? No, as a matter of fact I did have surgery May sixth and I was on pain medication...I don't believe because we are addicts that we should suffer in pain, however I have to say I loved the feeling of being numb again and after I recovered from surgery, I loved the endless energy...It was time to get off this medication and it wasn't easy but I did it...

The reason I don't come here is because my pc is old and I just can't log on...Maybe this year funds will come my way so I can buy a new pc...

I will try to make more of an effort to get to the library, so I can stop in here...I really miss all of you...

If you are new, welcome...This site will be of great help...I have met wonderful people here...
Again, I will never forget all of you and thanks for being there for me...

Keep coming back, when you can. I'll cross my fingers on the funds coming in for the new PC.

Hi Missy,

Thanks for checking in and I'm glad that you got through your surgery without too much trouble. I agree that we should not have to suffer in pain either, and I think being aware and accountable is what makes the difference.
