Thank you everybody for your positive messages of support!!
I have just gotten back from the dentist. The first time I have been in about 9 years! The good news is that I don't need any work done.
You may not think this is at all related to recovery but it is totally related! I was unemployed for many, many months and could have receieved free dental appointemnts and treatment. Did I go? No. I didn't see the point and couldn't be bothered to go through the hassle and teeth were the least of my concern to be quite honest. I really didn't care about myself and my self-esteem was very low. My self-esteem is still a work in prgress but it's getting nearer where I want it to be 'one day at a time'.
That is another step forward in my life courtesy of recovery. Going to the dentist and getting my teeth properly scraped and cleaned. 9 years of rock n' roll excess all scraped away. haha.
Increase The peace.
