It was day 4 when I went out to the cabin....
So, it was surprisingly easy. I didn't smoke, I didn't drink. It seems wrong, it went so well.....anyways, all is good. My apprehension ended up being for nothing!
That's great Bazel!! I LOVE it when that happens! I found the same thing to be true as well: things are much much easier when you take them (and sobriety) as it comes, ODAAT. I create all kinds of fantasies, fears and expectations in my head that really do little good at all. It's one thing to plan, but another to worry and fret.
Congrats on getting through it!

That's great, Bazel! I found there's a diff between being vigilant and worrying. Alcohol is always lurking, ready to pounce but it's not worth letting it consume us with worry.
Someone said this to me once and I keep it with me:
...so true and applies to nearly everything.

"Worry is the darkroom where negatives develop"
...so true and applies to nearly everything.
